Damian Quirze had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro José Brodie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. German Baladi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Pan FC's Ildefonso Marcones in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Damian Quirze saved Racing Club from getting behind. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bartolo Bermund hit a great ball. Julio Micael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Pero in the 34th minute. Damian Quirze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Soares went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Damian Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Gustavo Gamus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Gustavo Gamus got a free kick in the 44th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Sayvion made a kick off. With a little luck, Racing Club's Damian Quirze got control of the ball when Juan José Van De Gucht tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pan FC's Juan José Van De Gucht fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Julio Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cafu Soares hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Soares in the 78th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Damian Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pero in the 82nd minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Soares came free, but Damian Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Cedro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Pan FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro José Brodie. Pan FC played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
