Ildefonso Marcones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Micael made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Primo Sans sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primo Sans got free with Julio Micael in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Micael was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Primo Sans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Primo Sans really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Primo Sans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Micael, 2-0. In the 40th minute of the match Academia B.F. got a corner. Pan FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Carioca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cafu Soares was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th match minute, Pan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Cedro to maneuver through the defense. Wiliam Carioca struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Julio Micael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia B.F.. If Primo Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primo Sans in the 65th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Julio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Sans in the 69th minute of play. Primo Sans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Micael having to make a save. Julio Micael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primo Sans in the 71st minute of the match. Academia B.F.'s Michel Totti was substituted for Primo Sans. Academia B.F. made a substitution. João Francisco Fontes replaced Wiliam Carioca. Serafino Abadie hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Michel Totti made a precise shot to the right of Julio Micael. Pan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Totti in the 82nd minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Julio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pan FC's zone, Michel Totti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Micael came out of the goal and Michel Totti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Totti took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Micael. Julio Micael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Michel Totti might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Micael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Totti ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academia B.F. fully deserved thier win.
