The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Roman Liher fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Trip's protests and gave Roman Liher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Los Trip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Liher to maneuver through the defense. Armando Nesor succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 12th minute, Ruperto Cayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Matxin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The coaching staff of Los Trip protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sixto Frichoso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Trip fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Edgard Emeterio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Isaias Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Edorta got free with Raimundo Ioritz in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaias Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Nesor in the 39th minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Isaias Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Utopía Muerta FC's Leopoldo Beremundo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Cristofor, made in the 41st minute of the game. Isaias Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Armando Nesor, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Isaias Matxin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After 51 played minutes Los Trip got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Taurino. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Nesor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaias Matxin. That made the score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Fidel Valente replaced Armando Nesor. Utopía Muerta FC's Uriel Beat was substituted for Narciso Fix. In the 62nd minute, Fidel Valente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Isaias Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Valente in the 65th minute of play. Los Trip's Isaias Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Valente in the 72nd minute of play. Vicente Lucero charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Lucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Valente in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Utopía Muerta FC's Fidel Valente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaias Matxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jonas Socorro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Trip's zone, Dario Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Matxin came out of the goal and Dario Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Matxin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Valente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 92 minute of play. The Los Trip fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Utopía Muerta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
