The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 3rd minute of play forced 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goalkeeper Sefa Rahmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Marin Ciulei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Rahmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Marin Ciulei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club 23 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Voicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Bogdan Bogdanović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sefa Rahmet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bogdan Bogdanović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sefa Rahmet having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 24th minute of play forced 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goalkeeper Sefa Rahmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Bogdanović came free, but Sefa Rahmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sefa Rahmet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Bogdanović's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Marin Ciulei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sefa Rahmet having to interfere. A collision led to 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gérard Piqué hit a great ball. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Sefa Rahmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 36th minute of play. Leonard Chodzinski charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Chodzinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Chodzinski. Sefa Rahmet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Bogdanović went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edmund Piszczor struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sefa Rahmet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club 23. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's zone, Edmund Piszczor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sefa Rahmet came out of the goal and Edmund Piszczor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sefa Rahmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Piszczor in the 57th minute of the match. Sefa Rahmet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Piszczor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gérard Piqué hit a great ball. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Sefa Rahmet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Club 23 booed when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aşır Yalınalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Bogdan Bogdanović took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Sefa Rahmet to make any attempt to save it. Sefa Rahmet was a little too slow when Bogdan Bogdanović got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-6. Bogdan Bogdanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Sefa Rahmet got control of the ball when Bogdan Bogdanović tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Club 23 were awarded a corner. Anuhrada Sandhar went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Marin Ciulei to score against Sefa Rahmet in 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goal. 0-7 after 88 minutes. The supporters of Club 23 booed when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Tadić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club 23 were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anuhrada Sandhar took the corner. Sefa Rahmet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Piszczor, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club 23 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
