The supporters of Ssc Napoli booed when AC Korban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Ben Burnham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC Korban's Oséias Dantas got control of the ball when Des Westlake tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes, Flávio Baptista made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ssc Napoli's Silvester Pamplin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Ben Burnham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oséias Dantas. The goal made the score 1-1. AC Korban's Oséias Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Burnham in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Burnham came free, but Oséias Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Natã Tasso hit a great ball. Ben Burnham had several of the AC Korban's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Oséias Dantas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Silvester Pamplin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Flávio Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvester Pamplin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ssc Napoli's Silvester Pamplin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Baptista in the 37th minute of play. Falcão Ramalho was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Falcão Ramalho got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nando Matos to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Flávio Baptista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zé Carlos Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvester Pamplin having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ssc Napoli's Des Westlake sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 74 minutes AC Korban's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Midgley who took care of the corner kick. Patrick Midgley made a great header on Ssc Napoli's corner, it was just that AC Korban's Oséias Dantas managed to reach the ball for a save. Jaime de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvester Pamplin having to make a save.
