Isaac Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Leontin Iacobescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Beliran was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Leoiar. Manuel Bernad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitko Vutev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Manuel Bernad fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marcu Voitiş hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Leontin Iacobescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Beliran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Leontin Iacobescu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Isaac Beliran. After 34 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Iacobescu. 37 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Bernad came free, but Vitko Vutev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Câmpeanu's late challenge caught a Cavaliers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavius Câmpeanu helped the player get up and apologised. Flavius Câmpeanu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Barto. In the 44th minute Leontin Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Alejandro Leoiar made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelino Mede. The MIT fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when MIT's Leontin Iacobescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. MIT made a substitution. Cristi Foltea replaced Emil Glodeanu. Cavaliers FC's Isaac Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Valer Papadima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavaliers FC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Iacobescu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Beliran saved Cavaliers FC from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded MIT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cavaliers FC.
