An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Jering in the 15th minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Xulian Vegal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lombillo came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Lombillo in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Figueroa Aviñante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lombillo came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Lombillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luisito Gelmiro hit a great ball. Real Racing Club's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Luzuriaga in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Gaudencio Lixandro got a free kick in the 39th minute.

Walter Luzuriaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nacho Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Barea hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Erling Jering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Real Racing Club's Nacho Gonzalez got control of the ball when Walter Luzuriaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Emiliano Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alberto Lombillo's late challenge caught a Real Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Lombillo helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Lombillo. In the 80th minute, Agustin Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Larpe.
