The referee ignored Cachaça FC's protests and gave Dinei Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. Enrico Eleuteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Osvaldo Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrico Eleuteri. The goal made the score 1-0. When Osvaldo Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cachaça FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cesano Boscone's goalkeeper Enrico Eleuteri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Enrico Eleuteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachaça FC. In the 20th play minute Osvaldinho Fernandes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enrico Eleuteri. 2-0. Ernesto de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Zoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Zoff in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cesano Boscone's Enrico Eleuteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Nascimento in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Osvaldo Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachaça FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fernando Vaz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Nascimento made a kick off. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
