Miromir Kaczanka's late challenge caught a Roneros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miromir Kaczanka helped the player get up and apologised. Miromir Kaczanka kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Boruc Praski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Rubinos in the 19th minute of play. Boruc Praski made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Paúl Zubieta sent off a good shot on target. When Juliusz Matuch fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KKS Lech Poznań's protests and gave Juliusz Matuch a yellow card for diving instead. KKS Lech Poznań's Boruc Praski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save KKS Lech Poznań from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Danny Rubinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Praski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Wojtowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Rubinos got free with Boruc Praski in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Boruc Praski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenez Aller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, KKS Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Dzerwucki to maneuver through the defense. Franco Chapital received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Boruc Praski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the KKS Lech Poznań defense, Hernando Barriga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boruc Praski. The KKS Lech Poznań fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boruc Praski should have stopped the shot. Xavier Castella kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Roneros F.C. were the better team. Roneros F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
