In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Ernesto de Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Osvaldo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Eyague in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Meti Gol made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto de Godoi.
