When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornel Bourceanu made a kick off. When Gerson Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo Colorado's protests and gave Gerson Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Rioşanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Marquez. Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Wilian Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinamo Colorado were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
