The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pretorianos FC's Hector Telmo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christiano Travassos in the 16 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Min in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laerte da Silveira saved Olivedos from getting behind. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by David Transito from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Laerte da Silveira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 27th match minute, Pretorianos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Lima hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mario Chico charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Chico. Gualter Nogueira was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gualter Nogueira hit a great ball. Basilio Bidari took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laerte da Silveira. Olivedos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raimundo do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Pedro Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivedos. Pedro Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 37 in the game by Clemente Min from a close distance when the talented Laerte da Silveira managed to make a qualified save. Olivedos's players were relieved. After 39 minutes Olivedos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Transito who took care of the corner kick. Pretorianos FC's David Transito was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laerte da Silveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedro Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute Clemente Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Pedro Estevon made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Christiano Travassos sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Wilian da Rocha. Laerte da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Min hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pedro Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Lima in the 70th minute of play. Clemente Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Laerte da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Romulo Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Valdemar Braga got a free kick in the 78th minute. Laerte da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Calixto in the 82nd minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Calixto. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
