An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Simão in the 13th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Inácio Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anderson Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wellington Torres in the 15th minute. Inácio Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Toscano in the 16th minute of the match. Inácio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Anderson Meira got control of the ball when Wellington Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Reis to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Anderson Meira managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Torres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Adolfo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Ricardinho Simão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Marquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo Valle's late challenge caught a Clube do Remo MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Clube do Remo MZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hélder Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute of the match João Adolfo Carioca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anderson Meira skillfully saved the ball. Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Simão in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Gerson Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Carlos Toscano got free with Inácio Marquez in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
