After a defensive mix-up in BAC Belgrano de Cba's zone, Belmiro Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Gelmiro came out of the goal and Belmiro Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Angelino Boni made a precise shot to the right of Laerte da Silveira. Olivedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Boni in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laerte da Silveira saved Olivedos from getting behind. A collision led to BAC Belgrano de Cba getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alejo Benitez hit a great ball. Olivedos's Natã Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laerte da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Presebal in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Gelmiro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Edvaldo Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olivedos booed when BAC Belgrano de Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Damian Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Baldomero Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Lima to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
