Juventus PTM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube do Remo MZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Horaţiu Tinu got a free kick in the 10th minute. A hard shot by Caetano Camargo from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Virgil Lixandru's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Simão in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Lixandru saved Juventus PTM from getting behind. Elivélton Valladares's late challenge caught a Juventus PTM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elivélton Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. Virgil Lixandru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Virgil Lixandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Simão in the 16th minute of play. In the 28th minute Cornel Bourceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Lixandru was a little too slow when Zé Carlos Toscano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Virgil Lixandru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Carlos Toscano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Simão in the 36th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Virgil Lixandru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube do Remo MZ were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Juventus PTM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Caetano Camargo took the corner. 43 minutes into the game, Ivan Şumălan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anderson Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virgil Lixandru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ivan Şumălan made the kick off in the second half. José Maria Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Maria Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Rossi. 56 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Simão came free, but Virgil Lixandru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Juventus PTM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Şumălan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Horaţiu Tinu hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Caetano Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Lixandru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Zé Carlos Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus PTM's Virgil Lixandru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Simão in the 65th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Virgil Lixandru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Zé Carlos Toscano made a precise shot to the right of Virgil Lixandru. Juventus PTM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Clube do Remo MZ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Hélder Mangueira hit a great ball. Juventus PTM's Cornel Doman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clube do Remo MZ. 80 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Şumălan came free, but Anderson Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube do Remo MZ's Anderson Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Clube do Remo MZ from getting a goal against them. José Maria Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Lixandru having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube do Remo MZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juventus PTM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
