The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Laerte da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laerte da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinamo Colorado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tarcisio Mesquita in the 14th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Olivedos's goalie and right to Gerson Mazza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Olivedos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Travassos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Christiano Travassos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Inácio Marquez. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Natã Martins hit a great ball. If Gerson Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olivedos's Laerte da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. Inácio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Travassos in the 27th minute of play. Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Travassos in the 29th minute of play. Matías Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Laerte da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Wellington Torres sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Nunes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dinamo Colorado getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Natã Tasso hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 53 minutes of play, Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Torres made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte da Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 59 minutes, Natã Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natã Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerson Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pinho in the 63rd minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Laerte da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Pedrinho Prata got a free kick in the 67th minute. Dinamo Colorado's Fabiano de Godoi was substituted for Jairo Valle. Pedrinho Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Wilian da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olivedos's protests and gave Wilian da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Travassos in the 73rd minute of play. Silas Tasso's late challenge caught a Dinamo Colorado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Silas Tasso got a free kick in the 75th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, João Adolfo Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Colorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Tasso in the 87th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Laerte da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Olivedos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
