Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Hechter to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ñacuñán AC's Astor Felipo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisito Luzaide. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. Constantino Gaufred was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Astor Felipo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Ignacio Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Luzaide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ñacuñán AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Huckebein throughout the match.
