Angelino Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Rosa having to interfere. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Baldomero Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Chaves in the 17th minute of play. Damian Fanuco hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in BAC Belgrano de Cba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Telmo Chaves placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Alex Coutinho got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Luís Fabiano Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Gelmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 42nd minute of the match Alex Coutinho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alex Coutinho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alex Coutinho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telmo Chaves to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ceferino Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Musko made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Basilio Mederi. A sloppy throw-in by Ceferino Bras in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Luís Fabiano Sena. Hermínio Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Basilio Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BAC Belgrano de Cba were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
