The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomero Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Şumălan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cornel Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Emanuel Mocanu got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to BAC Belgrano de Cba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Basilio Mederi hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Baldomero Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Bourceanu. Juventus PTM's Virgil Lixandru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Boni in the 26th minute of play. Virgil Lixandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Boni in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Emanuel Mocanu got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 34 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Şumălan. In the 35th minute of the match Basilio Mederi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgil Lixandru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 36th minute of the match Ivan Şumălan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivan Şumălan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Virgil Lixandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Boni in the 38th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Horaţiu Tinu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus PTM and the BAC Belgrano de Cba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Horaţiu Tinu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Virgil Lixandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Boni in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Angelino Boni made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Miguel Presebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BAC Belgrano de Cba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus PTM the free kick. After 54 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Presebal. Virgil Lixandru was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Damian Fanuco. When Angelino Boni came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the BAC Belgrano de Cba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Boni couldn't finish the play. Cornel Bourceanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Gelmiro having to make a save. Emanuel Mocanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Baldomero Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Bourceanu in the 87th minute of the match. Virgil Lixandru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Boni's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in BAC Belgrano de Cba's zone, Cornel Bourceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Gelmiro came out of the goal and Cornel Bourceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Boni got free with Virgil Lixandru in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the BAC Belgrano de Cba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus PTM.
