Evaristo Guimarães hit a great ball. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado in the 22nd minute of play. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Risel during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Monitor Huáscar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantinos Rivadeneyra made a kick off. If Bidari Ansola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseu Negri made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bidari Ansola sent off a good shot on target. After 54 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Azevedo. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseu Negri. New Loser FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Porto in the 56th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Ferman Basabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Negri was a little too slow when Bidari Ansola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 65th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bidari Ansola went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Monitor Huáscar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
