In the 4th minute of the match, Davi Proença tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiaguinho Pirani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, PATO BRANCO FC's Ricardinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 6th minute. Catugi FC's Davi Proença shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tiaguinho Pirani but with some difficulty. In the 9th minute, Luís Eduardo Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiaguinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrézinho Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Andrézinho Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Favoretto. After some careless play in the PATO BRANCO FC defense, Henrique Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Pirani. The PATO BRANCO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho Pirani should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Catugi FC's Davi Proença dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Proença came free, but Tiaguinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Proença made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Viana. Tiaguinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Proença scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiaguinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Proença in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Bertassi came free, but Tiaguinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, PATO BRANCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Cabral to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Davi Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tiaguinho Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PATO BRANCO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catugi FC the free kick. After 75 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Carvalho. Davi Proença took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiaguinho Pirani. PATO BRANCO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luís Eduardo Valle's late challenge caught a Catugi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Eduardo Valle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Catugi FC booed when PATO BRANCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Bertassi in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matheus Perez during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matheus Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Catugi FC were awarded a corner. Davi Proença went to the cornerflag to take it. Davi Proença made a great header on Catugi FC's corner, it was just that PATO BRANCO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani managed to reach the ball for a save.
