The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. New Loser FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinará FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Britto in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Tonio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Quinito. After 18th play minutes Cássio Britto shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Esteve Tonio and just under the crossbar into goal. 22 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Britto came free, but Esteve Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Txaran in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Cássio Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 29 minutes on the clock, Tarcisio Bezerra commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 30th minute, Tarcisio Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Txaran to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Negri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Txaran came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Xavier during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
