Florin Enoaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Enoaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Marius Bogatu could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Luizão Braga however easily saved by the left post. Catugi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Victor Comșa scored to the left of an out of position Luizão Braga, making the score, 1-0. Florin Enoaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Enoaia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Catugi FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Viola Invest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davi Proença took the corner. The audience was convinced that Davi Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Enoaia was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Victor Comșa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 36th minute Nechifor Bîndean suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 36 minutes, Silas Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catugi FC and the Viola Invest players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silas Barbosa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Viola Invest's Gelu Covaci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luizão Braga. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. Nicolae Jilăveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Luizão Braga made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Comșa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Viola Invest's Victor Comșa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizão Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Covaci in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Davi Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Enoaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Catugi FC were awarded a corner. Davi Proença went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Davi Proença almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viola Invest's Florin Enoaia did a great save. In the 64th minute, Davi Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Comșa took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Davi Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Glauco de Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catugi FC's protests and gave Glauco de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. Dida Batista hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Comșa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Catugi FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
