The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Eantdit FK booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Eantdit FK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Felix Bratoloveanu hit a great ball. Natalio Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Marquez in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Fecioru saved Eantdit FK from getting behind. Ionel Fecioru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Marquez in the 15th minute of the match. Anibal Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eantdit FK's Ionel Fecioru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Resto in the 19th minute of play. Anibal Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ionel Fecioru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavril Mihai's late challenge caught a Loco De Remate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavril Mihai helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Eantdit FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Mihai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes in the game Severino Gamus did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gerardo Bibiano. Anibal Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fulgencio Artal fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loco De Remate's protests and gave Fulgencio Artal a yellow card for diving instead. Fulgencio Artal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Anibal Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Fecioru. Eantdit FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Fulgencio Artal put in a rough tackle. Iustinian Bărbat walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavril Mihai was the one to do the kick off. If Ivan Niculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Eantdit FK's Felix Bratoloveanu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Samuel Mancio came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Eantdit FK's Felix Bratoloveanu. But to his dismay, Felix Bratoloveanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Severino Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Eantdit FK defense, Anibal Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionel Fecioru. The Eantdit FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionel Fecioru should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Bratoloveanu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Loco De Remate's Zeledon Ixona got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes, Gigel Tăbăcaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eantdit FK and the Loco De Remate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eantdit FK's Gigel Tăbăcaru got a free kick in the 79th minute. Loco De Remate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Anibal Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionel Fecioru. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Natalio Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Bratoloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Eantdit FK's Ionel Fecioru got control of the ball when Anibal Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Loco De Remate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loco De Remate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
