After 10 played minutes 大汉•钓鱼岛 got a freekick which was hit by 俞皓辉. Teodosio Stanislao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 严益竞. 大汉•钓鱼岛's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 严益竞 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Rodriguez in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, 陈寒振 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by 俞广彬 in the 22nd minute. 大汉•钓鱼岛's 严益竞 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Frascuelo in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, 大汉•钓鱼岛 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 俞皓辉 to maneuver through the defense. When Palermo AFC's Celestino Evangelista in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Teodosio Stanislao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 41 minutes, Celestino Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Evangelista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, 大汉•钓鱼岛's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Frascuelo came free, but 严益竞 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes 大汉•钓鱼岛 got a freekick which was hit by 陈寒振. In the 46th minute Celestino Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 严益竞 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, 大汉•钓鱼岛's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Evangelista came free, but 严益竞 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Celestino Evangelista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but 严益竞 made a huge save. 大汉•钓鱼岛's 严益竞 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save 大汉•钓鱼岛 from getting a goal against them. 严益竞 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Evangelista in the 65th minute of play. Celestino Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 严益竞 having to interfere. 严益竞 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Stanislao in the 75th minute of play forced 大汉•钓鱼岛's goalkeeper 严益竞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, 孙凌勇 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 大汉•钓鱼岛's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, 大汉•钓鱼岛's 孙凌勇 got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Celestino Evangelista made a precise shot to the right of 严益竞. 大汉•钓鱼岛's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Octavio Frascuelo hit a great ball. 严益竞 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Frascuelo in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 陈寒振 came free, but Jairo Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Frascuelo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Palermo AFC's Teodosio Stanislao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Palermo AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 大汉•钓鱼岛.
