Grigore Mardarie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeru Palomares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Manole in the 16th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Manole. In the 22nd minute C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner. Dei Balcells went to the cornerflag to take it. After 27 minutes, Cosmin Badea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- and the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Cosmin Badea got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Dei Balcells shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grigore Mardarie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 31st minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Zeru Palomares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Mardarie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomé Correa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomé Correa came free, but Grigore Mardarie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Mihăilescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eriz Andres hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Nae Răchită shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
