Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celestino Evangelista kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Palermo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Stanislao. Sorin Manole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grigore Mardarie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Palermo AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maxim Strugure 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 25 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Maxim Strugure made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Alonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Mihăilescu came free, but Jairo Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Eduard Mihăilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Sasoin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Grigore Mardarie. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jairo Alonso came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Sorin Manole. But to his dismay, Sorin Manole quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mădălin Brăiloiu was the one to do the kick off. Jairo Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Strugure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Brăiloiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Celestino Evangelista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Grigore Mardarie made a huge save. Elias Barto's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Barto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Barto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mădălin Brăiloiu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Alonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Teodosio Stanislao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigore Mardarie, 4-1. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eduard Mihăilescu hit a great ball. After 73 minutes, Celestino Evangelista made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Mardarie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jairo Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo AFC's Tobias Sasoin got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute Mădălin Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Mardarie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Rodriguez in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Mădălin Brăiloiu notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Palermo AFC's Jairo Alonso. Jairo Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
