Pedrinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Bemabe in the 10th minute of the match. Emilio Galindo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in La France FC's zone, Simão Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Galindo came out of the goal and Simão Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedrinho Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvio Gonsalve went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes of play, La France FC's Cleto Peru made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Peru in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Arce in the 29th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Pedrinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Jerônimo Varela got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, La France FC's Sergio Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Cleto Peru took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Sergipano. Pedrinho Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Pedrinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Peru in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Peru was the one to do the kick off. João Carlos Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Simão Braga's late challenge caught a La France FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Braga helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Ponc during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jose Ponc hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of La France FC booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Ponc got free with Pedrinho Sergipano in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 minutes of play La France FC's Jose Ponc was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jose Ponc hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Simão Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Elvio Gonsalve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Pedrinho Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Celsinho Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La France FC the free kick. Celsinho Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pedrinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Gonsalve in the 85th minute of play. Cleto Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La France FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
