Jairo Alonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Petruț Dugulescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Petruț Dugulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 10th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petruț Dugulescu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jairo Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 16th minute. Petruț Dugulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Alonso having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Sandu Bărbânță dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 29 played minutes Olimpiu Teodorescu rounded Palermo AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tobias Sasoin hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Bărbânță to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Dugulescu to make the kick off. Olimpiu Teodorescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Mitruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Teodosio Stanislao managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 62nd minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Alonso. Palermo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Alonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Alonso came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Teodorescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Evangelista got free with Ilie Brumaru in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes Palermo AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aron Mitruț who took care of the corner kick. Aron Mitruț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Petruț Dugulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petru Chirea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erasmo Ellande, made in the 95th minute of the game. Sandu Bărbânță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palermo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
