In the 5th minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jerônimo Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilie Brumaru. FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ilie Brumaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Sousa went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 14 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Artur Gerber. 26 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Teodorescu came free, but Pedrinho Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Passos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudinei Passos hit a great ball. Pedrinho Sergipano came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Teodorescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in DIPLOMATA FC PAB's zone, Olimpiu Teodorescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Sergipano came out of the goal and Olimpiu Teodorescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olimpiu Teodorescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pedrinho Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Petruț Dugulescu made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 45 minutes, Petruț Dugulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cosula-BTF- and the DIPLOMATA FC PAB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Dugulescu. After 47 minutes, Samuel Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIPLOMATA FC PAB and the FC Cosula-BTF- players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Samuel Palmeira hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marquinhos Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guto Arósio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Petruț Dugulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petruț Dugulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When Artur Gerber was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. After 69 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Artur Gerber. Pedrinho Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Petruț Dugulescu sent off a good shot on target. Pedrinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 73rd minute of play. Pedrinho Sergipano had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Gheorghe Chițan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 84 minutes into the game, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. In the 87th minute, Petruț Dugulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandu Bărbânță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrinho Sergipano. That made the score 1-8 in the 91 minute of play. Marquinhos Sousa made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petru Chirea. In the 99th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Martins to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 100th minute of the match. FC Cosula-BTF-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
