Emilio Galindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petruț Dugulescu went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the game, Petruț Dugulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La France FC the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Arce to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, La France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Bărbânță came free, but Emilio Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Cosula-BTF- had won after a very even match.
