But to his dismay, Joel Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Compugraf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Compugraf's goalkeeper Chico Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led to 辽宁国际队's 蒋棋希 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Vidal in the 17th minute of play forced 辽宁国际队's goalkeeper 庞希南 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Christiano Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compugraf and the 辽宁国际队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Christiano Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 辽宁国际队's 曾树烽 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodrigo Baptista, made in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严震南 in the 28th minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Chico Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando do Vale hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Compugraf's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when 严震南 scored to the left of an out of position Chico Fernandez, making the score, 1-1. Compugraf's attentive Gernando do Vale managed to snatch the ball when 庞寒升 made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Compugraf booed when 辽宁国际队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. 石南宽 didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Compugraf's Júlio Neves in action when he in the 46th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, 辽宁国际队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾树烽 to maneuver through the defense. 邱坤朋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Christiano Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 辽宁国际队's 庞希南 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save 辽宁国际队 from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, 蒋棋希 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 严震南 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute 严震南 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 蒋棋希 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Fernandez having to interfere. 庞希南 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Domingues in the 91st minute of the match. 辽宁国际队's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
