If Alberto Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeferino Távora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Reis's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Alberto Reis made a precise shot to the right of Zeferino Távora. Tasso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Zeferino Távora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Quadros went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Naldo Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naldo Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Grêmio Papão de WC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Soeiro. 62 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Távora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Quadros. After 69 minutes of play Grêmio Papão de WC's Naldo Soeiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Naldo Soeiro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Grêmio Papão de WC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Soeiro. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Diogo Vidal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Moisés da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Guerreiro in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Watts to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Quadros hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Although Tasso FC had been in control for most of the match, Grêmio Papão de WC still came away with the win.
