The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, C.F. Leftraro's Abelado Lavalle got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Diamantino Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Amesti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lázaro Tomé hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Pinto got free with Demetrio Amesti in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, José Francisco Ross was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.F. Leftraro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SLB TELHA the free kick. A collision led to C.F. Leftraro getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. José Francisco Ross hit a great ball. C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zeferino Figueira 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 25 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Tomé. Rómulo Huechun kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Lourenço Balsemão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Amesti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeferino Figueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demetrio Amesti. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. C.F. Leftraro's Demetrio Amesti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save C.F. Leftraro from getting a goal against them. Juliano Bentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, José Francisco Ross notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SLB TELHA's André Azenha. André Azenha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florín Reveco was the one to do the kick off. With his leg André Azenha managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when C.F. Leftraro's Florín Reveco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Demetrio Amesti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Balsemão in the 55th minute of the match. Florín Reveco struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. André Azenha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.F. Leftraro. André Azenha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florín Reveco in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Pinto to maneuver through the defense. If Florín Reveco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelado Lavalle hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Eufemio Cumsille took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for André Azenha to make any attempt to save it. Demetrio Amesti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Balsemão in the 76th minute of the match. Abelado Lavalle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, SLB TELHA's Edgar Araújo tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Demetrio Amesti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Balsemão in the 85th minute of the match. Candido Céspedes's late challenge caught a SLB TELHA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Céspedes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.F. Leftraro getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Candido Céspedes hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Diamantino Ferreira notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of C.F. Leftraro's Demetrio Amesti. Demetrio Amesti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the SLB TELHA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
