An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Ribeiro in the 21st minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Vincent Wekenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Diego Mendonça notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of De Digitale Dribbelaars's Vincent Wekenburg. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Harris Staarman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeferino Távora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Emílio Nogueira got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Patrício Tomé had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Wekenburg. De Digitale Dribbelaars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrício Tomé was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. But to his dismay, Diego Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harris Staarman was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Harris Staarman managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Harris Staarman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeferino Távora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Digitale Dribbelaars. After 67 minutes, Diego Mendonça made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Vincent Wekenburg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Severino Gouveia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Wekenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Harris Staarman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeferino Távora, 7-1. In the 94th minute Roberto Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Wekenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincent Wekenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mendonça in the 97th minute of play. Tasso FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
