Nil Dergachev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincent Wekenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Seliverstov in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute Nikolay Seliverstov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Wekenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksey Antonov in the 44th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Vincent Wekenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Roman Ryabin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Amur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Digitale Dribbelaars the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harris Staarman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolay Seliverstov in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Wekenburg saved De Digitale Dribbelaars from getting behind. In the 75th minute Nikolay Seliverstov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Wekenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nikolay Seliverstov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Wekenburg was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Vincent Wekenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksey Antonov, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Nikolay Seliverstov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FK Amur fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Digitale Dribbelaars had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
