Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Maraman started the match with the kick off. Candido Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Godoi in the 17th minute of play. Palermo's Candido Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Damião in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Flavinho Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Millan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Flavinho Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Millan having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Braga came free, but Candido Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Damião came free, but Candido Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Palermo booed when Bucéfalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Mazinho Damião made a precise shot to the right of Candido Millan. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Candido Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Godoi in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Nico Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bucéfalo FC and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palermo booed when Bucéfalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Domingues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Damião in the 46th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Candido Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Mazinho Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Millan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mazinho Damião was the one to do the kick off. Candido Millan was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Nico Godoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nico Godoi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Flavinho Braga might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavinho Braga ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pedro Maraman hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Damião got free with Candido Millan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazinho Damião in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Millan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Candido Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mazinho Damião in the 78th minute. Baldomiro Gamus's late challenge caught a Bucéfalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Gamus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Baldomiro Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bucéfalo FC made a substitution. Chicão Sena replaced Nico Godoi. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Baldomiro Gamus hit a great ball. Candido Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Candido Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Millan came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Bucéfalo FC's Mazinho Damião. But to his dismay, Mazinho Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 90th minute, Mariano Urtungo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Flavinho Braga's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavinho Braga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Flavinho Braga got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Candido Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Sena in the 96th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho Ortiz during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bucéfalo FC played a much better game than Palermo and deserved their victory. The Palermo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
