Candido Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 范兴风 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Gamus in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 江鸿强 in the 25th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Candido Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Ermano's late challenge caught a 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Ermano helped the player get up and apologised. Alvaro Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 范兴风. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when 马昆骋 came free, but Candido Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 尹广博 in the 35th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Candido Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Angelino Urbez fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Angelino Urbez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Urbez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Pedro Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, Palermo's Pedro Maraman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 范兴风 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Candido Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 尹广博 in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when 马昆骋 came free, but Candido Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Maraman was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 马昆骋 in the 57th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Candido Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 马昆骋 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Millan having to interfere. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leonides Elizardo hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Anibal Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 范兴风 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palermo were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonides Elizardo took the corner. Palermo's Leonides Elizardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 范兴风 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th minute of the match, 尹广博 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Candido Millan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Fernendo came free, but 范兴风 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 马昆骋 in the 75th minute of the match. Anibal Fernendo scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 范兴风, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when 江鸿强 got free with Candido Millan in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Maraman came free, but 范兴风 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 范兴风 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gamus in the 89th minute of the match. 江鸿强 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo fans cheered their team off the field, for while 云南丽江魔鬼鱼俱乐部 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
