After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Rolando Gorbea got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Club Atletico Juanita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Thomas to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Rogelio Faro made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Saraiva. Bucéfalo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Bruninho Ortiz got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Rolando Gorbea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Saraiva. Rolando Gorbea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Evelio Crispo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the match Flavinho Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Crispo skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Mazinho Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Crispo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Bucéfalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Britto to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Thomas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Saraiva having to make a save. In the 41st minute Mazinho Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Crispo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Flavinho Braga notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Club Atletico Juanita's Evelio Crispo. Evelio Crispo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Gorbea made a kick off. Club Atletico Juanita's Evelio Crispo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Juanita from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Mazinho Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Crispo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bucéfalo FC's zone, Rolando Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Saraiva came out of the goal and Rolando Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evelio Crispo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Bucéfalo FC were awarded a corner. Flavinho Braga went to the cornerflag to take it. Mazinho Damião scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Crispo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavinho Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Evelio Crispo made a huge save. Evelio Crispo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Godoi in the 85th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Evelio Crispo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Almir Borges. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bucéfalo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
