Boris Rokeloos might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Nafarroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Rokeloos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Jarne Deswarte got a free kick in the 8th minute. Will De Munck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jaime Nafarroa made a huge save. The long shot by Luc Opdebeeck in the 16th minute really tested Jaime Nafarroa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tibo Wolfs hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Eliseo Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilliam Van Langhendonck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Boris Rokeloos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Nafarroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Rokeloos's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 42nd minute, Narciso Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The KFC Cromvelde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Gallardeta were winning 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Illan got free with Gilliam Van Langhendonck in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will De Munck in the 64th minute of play. Eliseo Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Eliseo Illan scored 0-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilliam Van Langhendonck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilliam Van Langhendonck having to interfere. When the match was over La Gallardeta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KFC Cromvelde throughout the match.
