The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilliam Van Langhendonck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilliam Van Langhendonck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronny Skott went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gilliam Van Langhendonck came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ronnys Lärjungar's Emanuel Snell. But to his dismay, Emanuel Snell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 13 minutes, Will De Munck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Cromvelde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will De Munck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Trillkott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will De Munck in the 24th minute. Gilliam Van Langhendonck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Colebrants didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Rokeloos struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ove Trillkott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Cromvelde. Will De Munck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Cederic Antheunis. 43 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Snell came free, but Gilliam Van Langhendonck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Skott kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Will De Munck was the one to do the kick off. Ronny Skott took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilliam Van Langhendonck. Gilliam Van Langhendonck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Zebastian Larsfält kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ronnys Lärjungar made a substitution. Bengt-Åke Clementsson replaced Peder Tönnberg. Ove Trillkott came out of the goal and Luc Opdebeeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Snell got free with Gilliam Van Langhendonck in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KFC Cromvelde's Gilliam Van Langhendonck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Skott in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th play minute Emanuel Snell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilliam Van Langhendonck. 0-5. Gilliam Van Langhendonck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Skott in the 78th minute of play. When Vince Vervaet fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Cromvelde's protests and gave Vince Vervaet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Vince Vervaet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Skott took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilliam Van Langhendonck. Gilliam Van Langhendonck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Snell got free with Gilliam Van Langhendonck in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronnys Lärjungar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
