After having played for 26 minutes, Marcos Madeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Madeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Rıfat Sebukalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Marcos Madeo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Kürşat Serimer skillfully saved the ball. Ali Kürşat Serimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Illan in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bektaş Ünaldi made the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Illan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Ali Kürşat Serimer got control of the ball when Eliseo Illan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmelo Jeraldo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Köksal Birhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Köksal Birhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Raik Orbay fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's protests and gave Raik Orbay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Raik Orbay got a free kick in the 78th minute. Eliseo Illan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Kürşat Serimer having to make a save. Gogo Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ali Kürşat Serimer made a huge save. Bektaş Ünaldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Nafarroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded La Gallardeta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR.
