In the 4th minute Martxel Baezabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Martxel Baezabal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Ravelli. Segmon IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martxel Baezabal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Locaio Perdiz fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s protests and gave Locaio Perdiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Locaio Perdiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Goizeder Rabanal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Goizeder Rabanal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Thomas Ravelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 minutes of play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Martxel Baezabal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Ravelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martxel Baezabal in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Dag Asserlind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Segmon IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ the free kick. Dag Asserlind kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Oidor Gracia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Ravelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Goizeder Rabanal hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Tiago Somarriba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Åberg. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charlie Lind made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Segmon IF's Charlie Lind made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Somarriba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martxel Baezabal in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Ravelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiago Somarriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Lind in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Martxel Baezabal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Martxel Baezabal sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Segmon IF's zone, Martxel Baezabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal and Martxel Baezabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Reine Molander fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segmon IF's protests and gave Reine Molander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Molander to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Oidor Gracia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Ravelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martxel Baezabal's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Axelsson. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Martxel Baezabal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martxel Baezabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Blomkvist during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Segmon IF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Emanuel Blomkvist hit a great ball. Martxel Baezabal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Thomas Ravelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Martxel Baezabal could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Thomas Ravelli however easily saved by the left post. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
