The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Corrêa in the 3rd minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Tiago Somarriba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hílton Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Queluzito's Sandro Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Somarriba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 15 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Martxel Baezabal. After 16 played minutes, Queluzito's Roger Vargas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiago Somarriba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Queluzito reached it. In the 21st minute of the match, José Paulo Corrêa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiago Somarriba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 27 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Tiago Somarriba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmir Siqueira. In the 28th minute Queluzito were awarded a corner. José Paulo Corrêa went to the cornerflag to take it. Tiago Somarriba was a little too slow when Sandro Santana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. José Paulo Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tiago Somarriba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queluzito. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Raimundo Monteiro sped through ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiago Somarriba. José Paulo Corrêa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Tiago Somarriba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sandro Santana notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Tiago Somarriba. Tiago Somarriba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiago Somarriba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Queluzito booed when ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Pedraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Somarriba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Paulo Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Tiago Somarriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Santana in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Pedraza. Tiago Somarriba came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Queluzito's Raimundo Monteiro. But to his dismay, Raimundo Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Tiago Somarriba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Corrêa in the 80th minute of the match. José Paulo Corrêa scored 6-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Somarriba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fidel Franques hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Raimundo Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Tiago Somarriba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Raimundo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Somarriba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Merexildo Ternero got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
