The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Somarriba. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Víktor Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Inter Gala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oidor Gracia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faustão Hermes. Inter Gala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Basílio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martxel Baezabal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Tiago Somarriba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Fonseca in the 21st minute of the match. Tiago Somarriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Ferraz in the 22nd minute of play. Tiago Somarriba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goalkeeper Faustão Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martxel Baezabal. Tiago Somarriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Fonseca in the 31st minute of play. Martxel Baezabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Faustão Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goizeder Rabanal hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Sousa. After recieving a nice pass, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Oidor Gracia tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Víktor Passos got a free kick in the 39th minute.

Goizeder Rabanal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eneto Lojo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Faustão Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 62nd minute of the match Oidor Gracia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão Hermes skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Víktor Passos got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Martxel Baezabal came free, but Faustão Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Faustão Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martxel Baezabal in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Martxel Baezabal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Faustão Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martxel Baezabal in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Martxel Baezabal made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustão Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustão Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martxel Baezabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Tony Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tiago Somarriba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Giuseppe Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tiago Somarriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Merexildo Ternero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ and the Inter Gala players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martxel Baezabal in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter Gala players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦.
