Oliverios Coya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 16 minutes, Mateo Hibai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Municipales FC and the UE Cornella players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Nicholas in the 18th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Oliverios Coya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliverios Coya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteve Nicholas went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, Municipales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Hibai to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Municipales FC's Saul Arias got control of the ball when Albino Bacete tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliverios Coya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 46th minute, Esteve Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mel Palanques to make the kick off. Saul Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walme Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Leonel Katia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thanks to some nice moves Mateo Hibai could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Oliverios Coya however easily saved by the left post. Aquilino Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Municipales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Tobias's late challenge caught a Municipales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Vives in the 88th minute of play forced Municipales FC's goalkeeper Saul Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led UE Cornella's Albino Bacete to fire away a dangerous shot which Saul Arias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Blanco Llinares kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Oliverios Coya was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paja Pajazo.
