In the 3rd minute Bengt-Åke Thidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Hedlund took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Cordarryl. Aquilino Cordarryl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Municipales FC's Aquilino Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Hedlund in the 35th minute of play. Jonatan Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteve Nicholas went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Instead of passing the ball, Leo Lorien made a really hard long shot towards goal. Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickard Hedlund made a kick off. A collision led to Municipales FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Hever in the 67th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jonatan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Andersson having to interfere. Olof Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Cordarryl having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Bengt-Åke Thidén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Cordarryl. Municipales FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Åke Thidén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
