After 11 minutes, Albino Bacete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UE Cornella and the ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes, UE Cornella's Belarmo Barrientos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oileus Passas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UE Cornella reached it. Oileus Passas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walme Vives in the 22nd minute of play. The referee ignored ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's protests and gave Salmakis Pezos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Salmakis Pezos got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Salmakis Pezos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ismael Villalcazar hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
