Ignacy Poling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olof Brolin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ignacy Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Thidén in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Artur Draper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Wieloch in the 56th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jonatan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kacper Wejta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QxQ Torun's protests and gave Kacper Wejta a yellow card for diving instead. Roman Wieloch got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jonatan Andersson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Roman Wieloch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Roman Wieloch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Jonatan Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Draper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Krzysztof Giejda made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Andersson. Linköpings AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Robert Jansson charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Jansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. The Linköpings AIK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented QxQ Torun from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
