Rui Patrício took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walme Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolo Figueroa charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manolo Figueroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Manolo Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliverios Coya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Andrade in the 11th minute. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Filipe Vilaverde suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Alberto Montenegro was substituted for Filipe Vilaverde. In the 17th match minute, UE Cornella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Villalcazar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, UE Cornella's Albino Bacete got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gastão Caeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Oliverios Coya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute, Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Luís Trigueiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luís Trigueiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Trigueiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UE Cornella:s goal. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for UE Cornella. Albino Bacete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rui Patrício. 0-1. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Villalcazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Mariano Queirós got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Albino Bacete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Patrício showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cândido Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliverios Coya. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, UE Cornella's Mel Palanques made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Patrício was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Walme Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Patrício saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alberto Montenegro hit a great ball. The long shot by Cristián Labarra in the 56th minute really tested Rui Patrício's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Rui Patrício got control of the ball when Albino Bacete tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cândido Lopes hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Bacete got free with Rui Patrício in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mel Palanques in the 75th minute of play forced Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's goalkeeper Rui Patrício to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Cândido Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in UE Cornella's zone, Cândido Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliverios Coya came out of the goal and Cândido Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes UE Cornella got a freekick which was hit by Leon Tobias. In the 96th minute, Albino Bacete reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Patrício. The goal made the score 2-3.
